Every PDF you add is read into your browser as in-memory data and processed by a Web Worker on your own device. No part of your file content, file name, or page count is sent over the network. There is no upload server, no storage bucket, and no analytics on your documents. When you close the page, the data is gone.

Open your browser's network tab, add your PDFs, and merge. You will only see requests for the page itself and its scripts — never your file content. For a stronger test, turn off your internet before merging; it still completes and downloads.
